“In light of the imminent end of our investigation, the Select Committee can no longer pursue the specific information covered by the subpoena,” Democrat Mississippi Rep. Bennie Thompson wrote in a letter to Trump’s attorney, CNN reported.
The January 6 special committee on Wednesday decided to withdraw its subpoena of former President Trump as it concludes its work.

“If I were given a chance to give an opening statement, I’m writing up what I would give them,” Rhodes told The Epoch Times on July 10. “If they decline to accept my offer, I’m going to go ahead and publish my opening statement.”
