Keffiyeh-clad members of Columbia University’s student body and faculty conquered a Barnard College library, beating drums, chanting, and planting foreign flags. A bomb threat, later deemed uncredible, put an end to the festivities.
On free speech, university leaders suddenly sound like Voltaire. But they’ve long operated like Lenin.
The presidents of Harvard, the University of Pennsylvania (Penn), and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) refuse to say that calling for the genocide of the Jewish people violates their schools’ code of conduct.
