In a shocking move, The Washington Post announced Friday it would not be endorsing a presidential candidate, after decades of doing so and after the outlet’s editorial board had written an endorsement of Kamala Harris.
Several employees for the Los Angeles Times and The Washington Post resigned after their papers’ respective editorial boards refrained from endorsing a presidential candidate.
“The Pulitzer Board has taken away any shred of credibility it had left with its ‘response’ regarding the 2018 Pulitzer Prize for National Reporting, which was awarded to The New York Times and The Washington Post for blatant fake news,” Trump said in a statement released on Monday.
Reporters from ABC News, The Washington Post, and Slate were among those working closely with an operative firm on stories about alleged links between Donald Trump and Russia, newly released emails show.
