The Queen’s coffin remains at Buckingham Palace ahead of a procession to Westminster later. Princes William and Harry, along with King Charles III, will accompany the coffin to Westminster on foot
King Charles III and his wife Camilla, the Queen Consort, traveled to Northern Ireland on Tuesday before returning to London to receive Queen Elizabeth II’s coffin at Buckingham Palace. The coffin’s arrival at the palace in London marked the first time Queen Elizabeth has been back in England since her death in Scotland.
The UK is having a four-day bank holiday weekend in June as part of celebrations for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
In February, the Queen became the longest-serving British monarch, and the first to reach 70 years on the throne.
