Nearly two-thirds (64%) of the federal government managers who voted for Vice President Kamala Harris in November said they would ignore a lawful order from Trump if they considered it to be bad policy. Only 17% of the Harris voters in the federal bureaucracy said they would follow Trump’s order.
More believe the economy will “get better” if former President Donald Trump is elected in November, and more believe it will get “worse” if President Joe Biden wins a second term, a weekly survey from the Economist/YouGov found.
When asked, “How would you rate the quality of life in New York City overall?” only 29.8 percent said “excellent” or “good.” That’s down from 51.2 percent in 2017 and 50.9 percent in 2008.
A more positive sign for Trump: 42% said the indictment made them more likely to support Trump, and 43% said the charges had no impact. Only 15% said they were less likely to support him.
The poll shows 45% of Republican voters say Trump is “definitely” the strongest candidate to beat Biden and another 18% say Trump is “probably” the most formidable candidate.
“The two things the memo illustrates are the President’s huge numbers and Governor Ron DeSantis’ collapsing numbers,” the Trump campaign wrote in a message accompanying the memo, according to Politico. “Now is the time to demonstrate your support and join.”
“We are going to complete the mission,” Trump said in the closing speech at CPAC. “We are going to see this battle through to ultimate victory. We are going to make America great again.”
Sixty percent of the respondents in a recent Rasmussen Reports poll found that Sinema made the right decision by leaving the Democrat Party, including 39 percent who strongly approved. Another 27 percent disapproved, including 12 percent who strongly disapproved. Only 13 percent were not sure.
Voters across every political category report being at least “somewhat concerned about the economy,” Republicans at 93 percent, Democrats at 81 percent, and unaffiliated voters at 85 percent.
Conducted on Oct. 30 for Newsweek, the Redfield & Wilton Strategies poll found that out of a sample of 1,500 eligible voters, 61 percent held Biden and his policies either “significantly” or “fairly” responsible for inflation.
