Entrepreneur starts her 11-year term after her conviction for defrauding blood-testing company’s investors

Disgraced Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes has delayed the start of her more than 11-year prison sentence after lodging another appeal.
Holmes, 39, was convicted last year on four counts of fraud linked to her failed blood testing start up.

Before being sentenced, Ms. Maxwell spoke to a packed Manhattan courtroom that included some of the dozens of women who have accused her of exploiting them. She called Epstein, her onetime boyfriend, a manipulative, cunning and controlling man who fooled all those in his orbit.
