He griped … work is overshadowed by “the one or two investigations that seem to capture all the headlines.” And whose fault is that? Those “one or two” (or five or 10) probes are hardly tiny affairs, but some of the biggest scandals in FBI history, in part because of bureau actions that violated bedrock American principles.
FBI Director Christopher Wray, testifying Wednesday before the House Judiciary Committee, sought to address a wide range of scandals that have engulfed his agency in recent years and months.
“The big takeaway from today’s hearing is what the FBI is doing with Americans’ private data,” Jordan, the House Judiciary Committee chairman, told Fox business host Larry Kudlow.

The legislation gives intelligence agencies broad powers to conduct surveillance on foreigners suspected of spying for a foreign power or belonging to a terrorist group.
