The oceans are boiling and other tall stories

‘The oceans are boiling,’ said the world-famous climate scientist Al Gore.

‘The world is on fire,’ said the world-famous climate scientist Prince Harry.

‘It’s code red for humanity,’ said the world-famous climate scientist António Guterres.

‘The earth has a fever and it is sick,’ said the world-famous climate scientist Pope Francis.

Global boiling? It’s never been so cold

‘The timeline, published Thursday in the journal Science, is the most rigorous reconstruction of Earth’s past temperatures ever produced, the authors say. Created by combining more than 150,000 pieces of fossil evidence with state-of-the-art climate models, it shows the intimate link between carbon dioxide and global temperatures and reveals that the world was in a much warmer state for most of the history of complex animal life.

The climate scaremongers: How the Met Office fiddles the temperature figures

While the public at large suspected they were being gaslit, it was encouraging to see the upstart media, such as Talk TV, rubbishing the claims as well; Mike Graham, Julia Hartley-Brewer and Kevin O’Sullivan, for instance, all made it clear they thought such claims were an insult to our intelligence.

Global boiling? Phew, what a con-trick

This did not reflect the reality to which those of us with eyes to see can attest.

The climate scaremongers: Junk data trashes the Met Office’s reputation

THE Met Office clearly believe they can get away with any claim, no matter how outrageous. They have just announced that this year saw the hottest May ever in the UK; and not by hundredths, but by a whole degree. I don’t think any of us need expertise in meteorology to know that this is simply absurd, even with our own short memories.

When the weather went wild (and global warming never got a mention)

WE are told that the weather is worse than it’s ever been, and it’s because we’re doing nothing about the earth’s dangerously rising temperatures.

If that’s right, then the weather 30 years ago, for instance, would have been less dramatic, calmer, with a minimum of record-breaking. Was it like that? Here is a look at 12 months of weather, November 1992 to October 1993.
