IT IS apparent that none of our major parties has a clue about how to tackle the ever-worsening energy crisis. Indeed, the policies of the government, Labour and Lib Dems are to all intents and purposes the same:
• Short-term handouts, which are totally unaffordable
• No plan to tackle the supply crisis
• Blind devotion to renewable energy
Twenty years of vandalism of the energy system was only ever going to have one result, and will not be fixed in a hurry. But how did we end up here? Why did we let it happen? The answers lie in the two great tricks that have been played on the public.

Soaring oil and natural gas prices. Electricity grids on the brink of failure. Energy shortages in Europe, with worse to come. The free world’s growing strategic vulnerability to Vladimir Putin and other dictators.
It is gradually dawning on the public just how ruinously expensive and suicidal the Net Zero project is going to be.
