Federal reviewers internally raised red flags about a Biden-era Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) program that awarded billions with minimal oversight to politically-connected green groups, according to a Tuesday report published by Protect the Public’s Trust (PPT), a watchdog organization.

Joe Biden ran his 2020 presidential campaign toward the center, explicitly away from Sen. Bernie Sanders’s progressive politics. Mr. Biden governed further left than the Obama presidency.
If the Inflation Reduction Act hadn’t required the Interior Department to hold oil and gas lease sales before offering offshore wind lease sales, there would have been no leases in 2023, either.
The President promised to be a unifier but has governed as a divisive progressive.
