Biden’s job-approval rating is a mere 33 percent. More than 6 in 10 Democrats want someone else in their party to run for president in 2024. Only 13 percent of Americans think the nation is on the right track.
Problems are always worse when some taboo discourages people from talking about the problem. One of the reasons the Democrats are in the mess they’re in is that they would not allow an honest and likely difficult debate about Biden’s age back in 2019 and 2020.
Just 29 percent of voters approve of Biden, while 58 percent disapprove. Only 19 percent of independents approve of Biden. Sixty-seven percent disapprove. Among Hispanics, just 36 percent approve. Forty-eight percent disapprove.
CNN, The New York Times, The Hill and NBC News have recently highlighted criticism of President Biden from members of his own party in the wake of the Supreme Court’s abortion decision and Democrats facing potentially difficult midterms in the fall.
From denial to blame shifting, his political tactics have put his party in a bad spot.
Approval of President Biden’s job performance slipped to just 33% in a poll released Wednesday by Quinnipiac University — as even key Democratic voting blocs such as young people and racial minorities give the president a big thumbs-down.
Perhaps it is time to consider the prospects of President Joe Biden and the political future of his embattled presidency.
“It’s bad,” an anonymous Democratic strategist said, according to The Hill. “You have an energy crisis that’s paralyzing and inflation is at a 40-year high and we’re heading into a recession. The problem is simple. The American people have lost confidence in him.”
