Dr. Austin Brendlen Harris wrote that Ashli Babbitt still had a pulse when he was forced away from rendering aid by a U.S. Capitol Police officer.
Montoya later shared the footage of Babbitt being shot in a 44-minute video online titled “Patriots Storm Congress Raw Footage Includes Execution of Ashli Babbitt.” He also appeared on the Infowars show “War Room with Owen Shroyer,” where he provided his eyewitness account of the breach and Babbitt’s death.
“I will be making his office my first stop Monday,” Witthoeft said at the time. “I want to ask him if he’s had the stomach to watch my daughter’s murder, or if he just says whatever his handlers tell him to say.”
Three undercover Metropolitan Police Department officers joined the march of protesters up the northwest side of the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021—including one who climbed over a barricade and pushed others toward the Capitol, and another who walked behind Ashli Babbitt and predicted that “someone will get shot,” according to newly disclosed court documents.
