CBS News now stands accused of deliberately distorting its news coverage for nakedly political purposes, to prop up Kamala Harris’ flailing presidential campaign by attempting to hide her inability to answer even simple questions about her policy positions and how she would act if elected president.
A member of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has asked the body’s chair to take up a complaint filed with the FCC to compel CBS to release the full transcript from its “60 Minutes” interview with Vice President Kamala Harris, the Daily Caller News Foundation learned first.
“CBS has been under fire for selectively editing their interviews to PROMOTE Democrats and UNDERMINE Republicans,” Johnson posted to X on Monday. “Yesterday, they chose to cut FIVE important minutes out of my nearly 15 minute interview. You can be the judge as to why.”
On “The Megyn Kelly Show,” Kelly highlighted how CBS released a different version on X compared to the full interview on YouTube, specifically regarding Harris’ response to a question about the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict.
As former President Donald Trump’s lead in the Electoral College widens over Vice President Kamala Harris, the national media is pulling out all the stops. The latest example: flagrant media bias at CBS News in favor of Harris.
“On Sunday, 60 Minutes teased Kamala’s highly-anticipated sit-down interview with one of her worst word salads to date, which received significant criticism on social media,” Karoline Leavitt, the Trump campaign’s national press secretary,” wrote in a statement. “During the full interview on Monday evening, the word salad was deceptively edited to lessen Kamala’s idiotic response.”
Somebody give Bill Whitaker a prize. In his 60 Minutes interview with Kamala Harris, which aired last night, the CBS correspondent did what no other journalist has successfully done since the Vice President was thrust to the top of the Democratic ticket: journalism.
When the media don’t have their hands full with a gigantic falsehood like the Russia collusion hoax, they’re busy selling Americans a host of small lies that are just as devious.
