Democrats have three years to organize and not a second to waste. Resist the temptation to dismiss their future wholesale. True, they offered voters not one, but two, of the worst presidential candidates in the history of American politics during the 2024 election.
Trump poll numbers are not sliding. That’s fake news. And even if they were, say, 43 percent, he’s still far more popular than the Democratic Party, with the rest being below 24 percent.
‘I’m looking to have four great years, and turn it over to somebody, ideally a great Republican … to carry it forward,’ he said.
Alaska and Maine — the only two states to implement ranked-choice voting so far — have also had their fair share of problems, such as election outcomes that contradict the will of voters.
